It's Saturday now and it hard to believe that VBS is over. Our adrenaline has stopped and we all are pretty tired. We went to the park this near the mansion (the term they use to describe where we are staying). Several families who attended VBS joined us at the park for a picnic. It was a chance to connect even further to these families. At the park the city of Yokosuka was running some games and invited us to join. Matt and Kenko won the water balloon toss. Bob, Lyanne, Matt, Kenko and Teru won the team water balloon dodgeball competition. Since we were participating, the Yokosuka officials called their events an "International" competition. Here's a picture of the document proclaiming our team as the winners of Yokosuka's 7th annual international water balloon competition.
Our team won some prizes which Matt, Bob and Lyanne generously donated to the families at the picnic. We finished the picnic by launching rockets made from the 2 liter plastic tea bottles.
What a great way to increase our friendships with several of the families here. God has really bless us and our endeavors this week.
